Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy

Cookies are small text files a website stores in a browser. Local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) operate differently; this policy also covers those technologies. Hornpiper stores the records below as first-party records in your browser. The preference record does not create a user account or a cross-device tracking identifier.

The preference expires after 180 days. The website removes it on the next read and asks for a new choice; deletion does not run while your browser is closed. You can remove site data earlier in browser settings. Session restoration features may preserve tab records.

• Necessary storage is used only to apply your cookie choices and cannot be disabled through the preference panel. If you remove it in your browser, you will be asked again.
• Analytics supports assessing campaign sources and visits related to content. It is off by default.
• Marketing supports associating advertising clicks with campaign information. It is off by default and is chosen separately from analytics.
• Optional browser storage requires your explicit choice. It does not constitute consent to contact-form processing, electronic marketing messages or another processing purpose.

You may accept all, reject optional storage or manage individual preferences. Closing the panel, scrolling or continuing to use the website does not constitute consent. Use Manage cookie choices in the footer to change or withdraw analytics and marketing permissions separately.

• Withdrawing a category removes its campaign fields from the record in this browser tab. Rejecting both optional categories deletes the campaign record.
• Withdrawal does not retrospectively undo processing carried out before withdrawal.
• A previous preference is not used after expiry or after a purpose or version change requiring a new choice.
• If your browser blocks storage, your choice can apply only to the open page. You will be asked again on a later visit.

Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are not active on this website and their measurement scripts are not loaded. Social media links are external links, not embedded tracking components. Opening a link takes you to the platform, where its own privacy and cookie rules apply.

Using a new measurement provider requires separate disclosure of the provider and processing conditions. An existing preference is not treated as consent for an undisclosed provider or purpose.
